TechAsy stands for the combination of Technology and Fantasy. It is what used to be a series of written scripts but is now transformed into the web-comic you saw on the main page. The title deals with the two sides as the major factors in the comic. Technology represents the day and era the comic is set in: the modern days of technology; the computer and information age in all it's glory as we know it today. This includes the good, the bad, its history (a little different from normal mind you), and everything we already know about the world, that way it keeps it mostly familiar I try to use real world locations and settings. The Fantasy part deals with Gias and Idola. Who are these two? Well they are important names and the reason this story exists. Gias is a Creator, a creator is a guardian and user of Earths eight basic Elements and also a guide for the Mana that flows around the Earth's living entities such as the animals, trees, humanoids almost anything living that reside upon the surface. Idola is an entiny formed of darkness, nothingness and the void. It wanted to see all that Gias had created destroyed; in short they both battled and Gias claimed victory, banishing Idola to it's own state of void. Time after the conflict passes and the story follows the heir of Gias legacy and his band of allies. During his journy he must learn to control the elements given to him by his family as well as deal with every day's life trials, and along with his fellow friends, family and the backing of the Anti-Terrorist Unit (ATU) he must now face an enemy thought of only in the imagination, before Idola makes Earth nothing more than just part of the history history. This is a journey showing that no matter how powerful you are you need friends to cover your back, that even the powerless can take the fight to beings that are beyond themselves or understanding. A journey of discovery, love, loss and family on many levels. We hope you'll enjoy the journey... |
